Full-Time Infant Nanny in Maple Leaf- CLOSED

Maple Leaf, Seattle, WA, USA

Job Type:

Full-Time, Short-Term

Hourly Rate:

$30-35

Start Date:

10/5/26

About the Family:

A family is seeking a nurturing, reliable, and experienced nanny to care for their baby girl, who will be approximately 12 weeks old when the position begins. This is a full-time, short-term position running from October through March.

Their daughter is a sweet young baby who enjoys visual stimulation and loves to be held. She is a pretty good napper, typically taking 2–3 naps throughout the day, and is currently sleeping in approximately five-hour stretches overnight. She is exclusively breastfed and takes a bottle well.

The family is looking for someone they can trust and feel completely comfortable leaving their daughter with each day. One parent works from home part-time, so they would love someone who communicates well and is comfortable working alongside a work-from-home parent while independently managing the baby's day.

The family also has a 7-year-old Golden Retriever, so candidates should be comfortable working in a home with a dog.

Nanny Requirements:

The ideal nanny has strong experience caring for young infants and a good understanding of infant development, safety, routines, and age-appropriate milestones. The family is looking for someone who is dependable, responsible, communicative, and genuinely enjoys caring for babies.

Professional nanny experience is wonderful, but the family is also open to candidates with strong infant experience in a daycare or childcare center setting.

The nanny should be comfortable supporting feeding and nap routines, engaging in developmentally appropriate play, providing age-appropriate stimulation, and helping the baby progress through new milestones as she grows.

Their daughter has sensitive skin, and the family uses fragrance-free products. The nanny should be comfortable following the family's preferences regarding products used around the baby.

CPR/First Aid certification, excellent references, a reliable work history, and a reliable vehicle are required.

Schedule & Details:

Basic nanny responsibilities will be centered around the baby, including bottles, feeding support, maintaining nap routines, age-appropriate activities and play, and keeping baby-related areas and items tidy.

Care is needed Monday through Friday for 40 guaranteed hours per week.

Typical hours will be:
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

The family has some flexibility with the weekly/daily schedule for the right candidate.

This position will begin October 5, 2026 and continue through March 2027, making it a great opportunity for a nanny looking for a consistent full-time position without a long-term commitment.

The position offers 40 guaranteed hours per week and competitive pay of $30–35/hour, depending on experience.

As an added benefit, the family has planned time off from December 23–January 2, and the nanny will receive this time off with pay. The family will also comply with Washington State Paid Sick Leave requirements.

About Our Placement Process:

We are a local, Seattle-based, woman-owned nanny placement team that has worn many hats from nannies, to moms, to business owners. We work differently than traditional agencies: our role is to advocate for nannies, not just place them.

We provide support with contract review and negotiation, ensure expectations are clear and fair from the start, and offer ongoing support throughout the entire contract, not just during the hiring process.

If this role isn’t the right fit, our application also allows you to indicate interest in future opportunities as they become available.
